Resolution Test

Most of web developers are hating when they did testing the view, feel and the detail of a site in variant resolutions. Most of them are still trapped with the 1024 x 768 screen.

But this would be a good news for you. From Google Chrome, with its plugin called Resolution Test, you can change the size of your browser with whatever size automatically (the sizes you can see at the picture beside, click it to enlarge).

According to Chrome;

Resolution Test changes the size of the browser window for developers to preview their websites in different screen resolutions. It includes a list of commonly used resolutions and the ability to customise that list. It also gives users the option to turn on Google Browser Size.

How to use the Resolution Test

  1. Look at the top right of your browser. There is a Resolution Test button, click it and then will show the drop down menu (same as the picture above).
  2. Choose one or more the size/s you want to show, then press the “View all selected”.
  3. Finish. Your browser will be re-sized. As simple as that.

If your Chrome hasn’t installed with the Resolution Test, click here for it. You can also find more information about it there.
