Driver Access

As we all know, our computers has several external system components and hardwares, such as monitors, keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner, webcam, etc, which are connected to the CPU. In order to work properly, these devices and hardwares would need their correct drivers.

Device drivers are the software programs that acts like a translator between the devices and all the programs that used them. Drivers are also necessary to make the system recognize the devices and hardwares so that they would work on the entire system, including to work with the other devices. Without the correct drivers, those external devices and hardwares won’t work properly or in some cases the system can’t recognize them at all which ends them up being useless components, and even worse crash the system.

In fact, the most common reason of external device and hardware troubles are driver problems. Sometimes we meet the situation where we lost the driver CD and didn’t have the backup on our drives. Some people choose to manually find the driver on internet, while we know that doing so would take more time than if we use some specific program like driveraccess to find the driver we need.

However, today’s Operating Systems are already packed with most drivers of all computer devices on the market. For example, Windows 7. After Vista’s failure and debacle, it seems that Microsoft and most hardware manufacturers learned their lessons, which results to Windows 7′s driver support were far more mature and robustly built.

So, people who load their computer with Windows 7 can expect their system to recognize and work with most hardwares and external devices. But still, there might be a chance where we have to manually install the drivers for some external device or hardware that Windows 7 don’t have the drivers for.

My personal experience was, right after i bought my latest netbook, i blew away the installed Vista and then load it with the Windows 7. After the installation’s finished, the system was able to recognize all of the hardwares except the touch pad so i have to find the driver by myself. Let’s just say at that time i was so unlucky that the drivers cd wasn’t included in the netbook’s retail package. That’s where the driver access program takes its big role.

With this program, i can find the latest driver for the touch pad then install it right way. And Voila! My netbook runs smoothly with all its features. What’s more, i can find the latest drivers for all hardwares on the netbook with the program, some are much latest and updated version of drivers than the ones packed inside Windows 7. We can get this great program from driveraccess.com.

For your information, most manufacturers update their drivers for their hardware products (mostly) every year, and everytime they found bugs or errors in their current drivers. The updates are also the manufacturer’s way to keep pace with today’s fast-changing technology.

So for us as the users, we should check for driver updates regularly to keep our system and hardwares works at the best condition. That way we’ll get the best from our computers and obviously trouble-free.
